After years of practice, Benjamina has honed her cake decorating techniques and has collaborated with us to create this workshop - the ultimate hands-on guide to creating jaw-droppingly beautiful cakes at home.

Starting with the fundamentals, Benjamina will teach you how to create and use American and Swiss buttercreams – a vital skill which will you’ll use to decorate so many of your cakes to come. Putting theory into practice, you’ll then get access to expert tips and tricks to master the art of the crumb coating, making stunning drip cakes, and how to use fresh and edible flowers to create that wow-factor.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

Make delicious vanilla and rose American buttercream
Pipe intricate rose and classic cupcake designs
Properly prep your sponge to create a semi-naked and a full crumb-coat cake using American buttercream
Master Swiss buttercream and experiment with unique flavours including a rich salted caramel
Make a decadent ganache used to create your show-stopping drip cake
Finish off your cakes with fresh and edible flowers
